Mc.....Gruber

Today I had three cards in the mailbox.

First was Lee Elia who is probably most famous for his ranting after a Cubs game. If you haven't heard it then maybe you should youtube it. Make sure its ok that you hear foul language.

Next i received Brad Park. Another card for my set, and another hockey great to my collection

Football I know right....i don't usually send many out, but I was looking for something different and came across a card of an offensive lineman thought hey why not, and 8 days later I had a signed card back

I think this is the last person I am going to send this card too. I do like the way it turned out. I may have to start another one of these projects here soon.

Appologizies

So with school back in session for me I haven't had as much time to post words, and or picture of autographs I have received. The bad and good news depending on what side of the fence you are on is that I haven't been receiving much back in the mail mainly because I haven't been sending as much. As you can see I have been making some custom cards and I am planning on sending them out.

The majority of these customs are college football and basketball players. I also have made some of the Colts players. I have printed them out on card stock and I must admit they look pretty good. I am going to try and get the first batch out by Friday.

Please keep reading I promise to keep updating more....

The General

Today's post is called the General, and no not like the car insurance general that you see all the time on commercials.

Hans Florine
2010 Allen and Ginter
World Free Climb Champion
Dustin Ackley
Mariners Top Prospect
Bob Clarke
Hockey Hall of Fame
Bob Knight
The General
So I am going to try something new with my blog due to time being an issue, and being able to post about every success, I am just going to pick one that I get each day and give a small note about it. this one I was very excited to get back. I remember when I first started collecting this is one that I always wanted to get, but he was charging 50 dollars at the time, and I definitely didn't have the money. Recently I noticed someone had gotten something back from Bob Knight by sending something to ESPN. So I said what the heck bought one of his cards and then sent it off. Then what do you know I get lucky again. Awesome signature, and its cool that its personalized.

Ransom Jackson and the Brooklyn Bums...

So the only return for today was Randy "Ransom" Jackson. He signed a Brooklyn Dodgers card for me to as well as this team card of the Indians. This card is off to Carroll Hardy next to try and add a fifth signature.

Yesterday's mail was empty so that's why their was no post. Tuesdays mail wasn't to bad. I will post a few pictures of the cards I received.

Holiday Post...

Drew Stubbs
Cincinnati Reds
I was happy to get these two cards back from the Reds CF. He is putting together a pretty good year this year for the first place reds who seem to be surging at the right time.

Milan Lucic

Although the graph isn't the greatest I am happy to get the second card back from this set. I sent it to his home in Canada and was returned back quickly (11 days) Another current NHL player to add to my collection.

Thanks for reading,
Seth

Brooklyn Bums

First card I received today was another old Brooklyn Dodger. Bobby Morgan signed a card for me from his home in 9 days. I am really enjoying this project, and I hope to continue getting more back.

Joel Pignatano another Brooklyn Dodger signed a card for me as well from his home address. He looks like his health may be ailing him so I am glad he took the time to sign my card. Another great Brooklyn Dodger.

Young A's
Today added another signature to this card. I have one more to get (Sal Band0) You of course will get to see the scan of the compelted card. Today I received Bert Campaneris signature on this card. He signed in a few weeks from his home address. I like that he alteast used the same kind of pen that Danny Cater used. After this Bando Signature other than my Indians team card I will have all my multi signed card projects complete.

Holy Crap....

I am just posting a picture right now their will be more about this later, but I really want to show this off.

Peyton Manning

Peyton Manning WOW! So I totally wasn't expecting this at all. I had seen some success from him over the summer and thought I would give it an honest shot and it paid off believe it or not. Most of the time my luck on these kind of graphs isn't very good, but as a Colts fan I am glad this one actually paid off. Great signature and I am very happy to add this to my collection. Thanks Mr. Manning.

Glenn Mickens

Also today I added another card from an "old" dodger. He signed the card and sent his own card along with a nice letter. He is living in Hawaii right now. He told me about how he has played baseball all his life, and that the game has changed a lot, and he is not sure if its for the better. You can learn more about Mr. Mickens on my Dodger blog not sure when his post will be up, but I am sure it will be sometime this weekend.

Enjoy--- Seth
