First and foremost many apologies to my followers. I have been without internet for a week, and I am finally back in touch. Instead of showing you all of the cards I have received over the past week we will just skip to today. First an update on the Fleer Greats of the Game set. I now have 24 out of 87 cards. This puts me at 28 percent complete. Now we shall move to today's mail.
Billy Pierce
The first card I got back today was Billy Pierce. He signed my 59 Topps card which is definitely going to be one of my favorites once I get Mr. Friend to sign it. The card is already on its way to him as we speak. Mr. Pierce signature looks wonderful on the old card, and his handwriting is still great even at his age. I ran across this card on Ebay while looking for older cards to send out. I am very excited to get this one back. I will get a scan of this card up as soon as Mr. Friend mails it back.
Ryan Dempster
Mr. Dempster signed my 2010 Allen and Ginter card in blue sharpie in 9 days from the Cubs team address. He has one of the cooler graphs that I have received. I have gotten him once before a couple of year ago. Obviously I am happy to get back a Cub player. I love these cards signed. They are practically made for autographs. To bad many of the players featured on these cards don't sign often enough to send them too.
Henri Richard
Henri Richard was nice enough to sign (2) 2001 Fleer Greats of the Game cards for me. He also added his own card. The Hall of Fame Montreal Canadiens star signed very quickly from his home in Canada. This card is of course another for my set, and anytime I get one of those back its a good day. I hope to see many more cards from the batch I sent to Canada in the next week.
That completes today's mail roundup. Hopefully I will have more to talk to you about tomorrow.
